Children

Last week, Tiffany and I took Campbell to get her hair cut. I am very proud to say we got it cut like mine. It's super cute on her. So Cami is now styling like her Nanny Dani!

I love this picture. So much attitude!

Kara and Landry decided to come have lunch with Pop, Mimi and Aunt Dani on Friday. Kara put her in the outfit I bought her for V day. It was sooooo cute on her (of course!)

Her first time to wear shoes!

Vday/Anni

Bobby and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Valentines. He had the whole day planned out. I knew nothing! We first went to an early movie. We saw Taken with Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace. It's about a father and his kidnapped daughter and the things he goes through to get her. It's a movie for girls and boys. I highly recommend it. Then we went to lunch at one of my favorite places, La Peep. It's sooo yummy. They have incredible coffee and food. If you've never been, you must. They are only open to 2pm. Then we hung out and he gave me my gift. He got me a pink ipod nano. It's sooooo cute. I got him his first pair of Jordan's. Ever since he was a little boy, he wanted a pair but they were always so expensive. Well he found a place online that had them for a really good price. So he sent me an email with about 4-5 of them he liked and I picked one. He was so excited. Then we went to dinner at Cuba Libra in downtown Dallas. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Then he took me to the Ghost Bar on top of the W hotel and we danced and had a drink together. It was so much fun. He is the best man in the world for me and I love him with my whole heart.
Thanks bubs for a fantastic day and night. Here's to 80 more anniversary's with you. I love you!

Then the next day he took me a burger joint that appears on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives on the Food Network channel called Twisted Root Burger. It's in Deep Ellum. I can totally see why it was on Guy's show. Burger was fantastic. They are big but cheap. Get the oreo milkshake and the fries. They are curly and crispy! After that, we went over to Kara & Tim's house cause mom and dad were over there watching Daytona racing (boring). I also wanted to see Landry.

Tagged...

OK…so my sister tagged me. Wasn’t quite sure what being tagged was but once I read Kara’s and Shay’s, I understand that I am suppose to tell you 25 things you may or may not know about me.

1. I am now an aunt!
2. I am named after my dad Danny and my mom’s middle name, Lynn.
3. Bobby and I met on a blind date, through Bobby’s friend Jeff Egger.
4. We’ve been dating for 5 years now.
5. My best friend is named Tiffany Weddel.
6. I am her child Campbell’s nanny.
7. I’ve been keeping her for 3 years now.
8. My mother’s voice is the most calming thing in the world to me.
9. I enjoy a great glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.
10. I LOVE going to the movies with Bobby.
11. I still live at home.
12. I attend UNT.
13. I am there studying to be an Interior Designer.
14. I do hire out! 
15. Besides Bullet, I have a cat named Boots who’s 10.
16. I hate the sound of people brushing their teeth. My mother seems to forget that and will come stand by me and do it. Bobby is the worst at it. He will call me for the night while he's brushing his teeth and I usually hang up.
17. My favorite drink is Caffeine Free Diet Coke.
18. My favorite movie is Clueless.
19. My favorite actor is Brad Pitt.
20. My favorite actress is Angelina Jolie.
21. My favorite TV show depends on the day! I watch over 40 shows in one week. It’s an obsession.
22. I hate commercials. I tape everything just so I can fast forward through commercials. The only shows I do watch live are Lost and American Idol when A.I. gets to the top 12 so I can vote.
23. My favorite day is Thursday because it’s my day out with Campbell, then I go home and my parents and I go to Winestyles. It’s this wine shop that has samplings of wine every Thursday for free. We then go to dinner and come home and I know when I wake up its Friday and I get to see Bobby.
24. I am probably one of the most stubborn, hard-headed, blunt (when the time calls for me to be blunt) person you will ever meet.
25. I am so grateful that I have found a man that loves me for me. He doesn’t try to change me or turn me into someone I’m not. He makes me laugh. He makes me smile. He knows what to say to push my buttons and he’s not afraid too. I am so very blessed to have him as mine and to one day be able to say that I am his wife.

So there you go. The people I would have tagged are already tagged!

She's Here!

Well.....I am proud to announce that Miss. Landry was finally born. We waited a really long time for her but she was way worth it. Kara went through 12 hours of labor. Can we say she got her stubbornness for her Aunt Dani!

Grammy & Granddaddy meeting her

Landry, meet Pop. Pop, meet Landry

We had a fabulous first talk together

I really didn't want to give her up...

Hi Grammy

I'm so in love with this picture. I've never seen Tim so excited about something. He was smiling from ear to ear. Kara said he sat and talked to her for about 15 minutes. I can only imagine the conversation that went on between them.

2 beauties

I am such a lucky aunt. I think she looks like Kara with some of Tim's features. She has dark hair with blue eyes (but almost all babies are born with blue eyes). She's got Kara's skin color and I think we saw a dimple. She didn't cry when she was being passed around. She just looked at everyone. She was very alert.

Ohh yeah... Aunt Dani was the first to cry!
