Long time no post

SO yes.....it has been a while since I have posted. I looked at my sister's blog this morning and I saw that she deemed me FABULOUS! Well, I already knew that but I figured I'd blog to let y'all know what's going on with me since September.

1) I am an aunt again. Bobby's sister Angie had her son Colton on September 21st. He's adorable. He makes the funniest faces. Here's a recent picture of him.
2) I have been blessed in being able to keep Landry on Monday's. This Monday was my last day with her :( My mom's schedule is changing and now Landry will be here on Thursday and Fridays. I have school and work on those days. Here's some pics of our day together.

On our way to Mother Goose. It's this reading time they have at the Library for babies. It's the best thing cause they are learning and interacting with other children.
Reading the book to me
It's a very intense book
Then we went and got some lunch together at Life's a Beach. We were both very happy because we were about to eat! Me tostada's and her sweet potatoes. Yummm
I always get her oyster crackers to munch on. I love you Landry Kate Smith. Thank you for making Aunt Dani's Monday's the best. Who knew a beautiful chubby (almost) 9 month old would be one of my best friends!

By the way...check out my pumpkin I carved for Halloween. Pretty cool if I don't say so myself.

Well that's what I've been up to since the last post. Even though it doesnt look like it, I have been extremely busy with work and school. My only day's off are Monday's. I promise to try to keep this up to date. Love you all!

American Idol

Last night my mom, Kara, Amy, Allison and I went to the American Idol concert. It was sooooo good. We all met at my house and rode down to the train station in Irving. The train drops you off right at American Airlines Center so not only did we save in gas, but we didn't have to pay to park or wait like 2 hours to get out of the parking lot.
Adam was the best by far. Allison did really good, she is so gifted. Kris did good too. They all did amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by Anoop. This was a good group. Can't wait to see what they do as individuals.

Kara, Amy, Allison, Me, Mom

Megan...she's so pretty and even though I know a lot of you don't like her voice, I think she's wonderful. She's different and she marches to her own drum...like me!
Matt reminds Kara and I of Justin Timberlake. He is so talented. He's going to make a name for himself and I will for sure buy his CD.
This is the bottom 6 (left to right) Micheal, Lil, Anoop, Matt, Megan and Scott
Here's Allison rocking out
Danny sang a song to his wife, very beautiful
AND HERE'S THE MAIN STAR.............
Here he's singing Mad World. If you thought he was good on the show, seeing him live is so much better. He's so drama, the high notes are unbelievable and he makes you want to dance and sing.
Him and Allison did a duet, Slow Ride. It was really good too.
And here's when the gay came out...he striped his jacket off and dirty danced. Of course the audience went wild including me and my friend Allison.
Here's the winner. He really is talented. Here he's singing Heartless, my favorite!
Here's a pic of all them
Us ending the night back on the train.
I had a wonderful night with all my girls. Can't wait til next years show!

Galveston

I went with Bobby's family to Galveston this past week. Bobby and I had to fly to Houston (thank you Kara!) since we didn't get to go down til Wednesday (Bobby had school). I hate flying...and this flight was probably the worse I've ever been on. It was bumpy and he brought the plane down way to fast. I had a headache and felt like puking til we got to dinner. But after that, Galveston was perfect. I had so much fun. Ate really good food, relaxed, read my new book (all of it). The house we stayed at was on the beach so I woke up every day looking at something so big to me but something so small to God. It was beautiful weather the whole time we were there. I did forget my camera so I had Bobby send me a few.

June 8-12

Monday June 8th
Kara, Landry, Shay, Kensington, Amy and I all went to the zoo. We had so much fun.

Kara, Landry, Shay and Kensington
Mimi bought Landry and Kensington matching outfits
I swear Kensington was saying Dani...just ask Shay! She heard it too.
ok....I took this picture of Landry at the zoo without all of that on. Bobby got a hold of my computer, put this pic in paint, and left this for me as my screen saver, so I'm sharing it with you.

Tuesday June 9th
Campbell and I decided to go up to the shops of highland village to play in the water fountain. As she was playing, a little boy ran into her and gave her a nose bleed. Her first ever. So not only is she covered in blood, but I am. Thank you to the very nice mom who was sitting at Blue Goose who ran out with towels and ice for her! Advice for all you moms: make sure you always have an extra pair of clothes with you because the one time you forget, your child gets a nose bleed! (not my case this time, I luckily enough brought her a dress to put on)

Ms. Dani got her some ice cream after lunch for her nose! Since it had melted I told her to drink it, and this is the result!

Thursday June 11th
Today was my unofficial last day with Campbell. And what I mean by unofficial, is that Campbell started full time at school so my daytime's with her are no more but that in no way means I will ever stop seeing her. I plan on getting her one day a week from school and bring her back to the house and swim. I already miss her so much. Not only will I miss Cami, but I'll miss Tiffany too. I had 3 and 1/2years of one-on-one bonding with her and becoming a little sister to her that it's really hard to imagine not seeing them 2 every week. Here are some of the party Tiffany and Jason threw for me.

Me, Tiffany and Jason
As my 'thank you' gift, they bought me a brand new coach purse. It's so beautiful and so classy. I can dress it up or down. I've had it less than a week and I get compliments on it where ever I go.

Like mother, like daughter
Us 3 girls....sorry for the funny color, forgot the night lens was on. I made Cami a build-a-bear and I recorded my voice in it.
